ALCOA, Tenn. - Board certified family practice physician C. Larry Rahn, M.D., has been named the medical director of the CareToday Clinic at East Tennessee Medical Group,

266 Joule St., Alcoa, Tenn.

Dr. Rahn received his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California.  He completed his family practice residency at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, Georgia.  He received a bachelor's degree in history at Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee.

Rahn spent more than 20 years as an emergency room staff physician in hospitals in Georgia and Tennessee.  He also served for 10 years as the medical director for Blount Memorial Occupational Health.  Rahn's last position was as an emergency room staff physician at Baptist Hospital in Knoxville.  He is also a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
